Surgical Pathology Case

Clinical Information
  A 68-year-old lady had epigastric pain for several months with a weight loss of 15 pounds. CAT and ultrasound studies revealed a mass of the pancreatic head. Serum CA-19 was 290.
Gross Description

 Sectioning through the pancreas reveals a tan-white, 3.5 3.0 3.5 cm tumor mass in the head of the pancreas. The tumor infiltrates the main pancreatic duct, the common bile duct and the duodenal muscularis.
