Clinical information:

 

A 52-year-old-male had severe anemia. Bone marrow biopsy and aspirate.

 

  CBC and differential:

               WBC, 26.8 K/uL 

         RBC,  1.73 M/uL 

         HGB,  5.5 g/dL

         HCT,  17.2 %  

         MCV,  99.4 fL   

         MCH,  31.8 pg   

         MCHC, 32.0 g/dL  

         RDW,  28.5 %  

         PLT,  370 L K/uL

         MPV,  11.8 fL
